If you drink Brut Impérial you directly acknowledge: this is champagne... But where are the characteristic flavors of this individual wine - you won't probably find them. In my opinion it has less style, less grace! It is just... champagne!

There are a lot of smaller but more interesting champagnes out there! I love Billecart-Salmon or Roederer or Laurent-Perrier or Nicolas Feuillate. May be you have to spend little more money for the NV champagnes of these (and many more) producers, but this is worth! Champagne supposed to be a distinctive luxury product and not this hollow taste experience! Certainly you could also try the Premier Cru of Moet - but this is more expensive and another story....
