Having bought several cases we decided we must try a well chilled bottle with a punnet of strawberries the other evening.

The first taste was a little bland but it soon matured into a biscuity/ raspberry taste with an after taste of vanilla and went very well with the strawberries. For the price it is great value and a wonderful summer champagne to share with friends.

WELL DONE SAINSBURYS and let's hope they continue with these great offers!, after all, the British public need something to lighten and brighten the months ahead!!!!

How can one even begin to understand the assessment if there is no indication of the price? I read from the comments that it is "under a tenner" (Sainsbury's 2007). But why does the reviewer not get his hands dirty with £ and p?

For £9.95 less 5% if you buy six which its selling for all this week not next and then the week after it is fantastic value get to your sainsbury's branch ASAP.

Taste. Well its not as good as Moet or Bollinger but then they dont cost a tenner.

Dry, easy to drink good with some olives before dinner.

Labeling:-Classy
