This is the best champagne ever!!!! I first tried it in the small bottles in my local Sainsbury's, but they stopped stocking it. I have been devastated not to be able to drink it (I had taken to 1 a night!!!), but I am excited to say that I have now found it in LARGE bottles at my local 'Purveyor of Fine Wines'!!!!! I'll be stocking up for Christmas!

I was wondering if anyone knows who the publicist is for Pommery Pop Champagne? If so, can I please have a contact name? Thanks! :)

My husband and I first had POP while in Paris. It was delightful! We ended up buying a bottle each afternoon for cocktail hour.........very reasonably priced, Perfect for an everyday Champagne!!!
We then found it in a store in New York City.....a four pack, complete with straws! So much Fun!!!!

This champagne tasted extremely bad.
Sorry it tasted sour, and foul with a hint of beer taste in it as well.
I strongly do not recommend anyone from buying it.
It was the same price as a bottle of Moet, might as well get that instead.

I have come up with a list of synonyms for what I think POP champagne tastes like:
Detestable, Abomidable, Atrocious, Repulsive, Loathsome, Dire, Foul, Sickening, Appalling, Horendous, Gruesome, Worthless, Wretched, Vile, Dispicable, Repungent, Revolting, Dreadful, Horrid, Pestiferous, Offensive, Shameful, Objectionable, Deploreable
Honestly, Whatever you would like to call it, this champagne tastes TERRIBLE!
I am ashamed to call myself a customer of POP!

THAT WAS THE WORST CHAMPAGNE I HAVE EVER TASTED IN MY LIFE! I was looking forward to enjoying some Champagne on New Years, but instead of a pleasant surprise, I tasted the worst champagne of my life! My sister spit the champagne back into the glass after tasting a sip!

I have always loved pommery ever since I toured the chateau in 1976. I especially love 'pop'. Does it come in a large bottle? I have only seen the small bottles.

I have had the pleasure of visiting the Madame Pommery in Reims. Every time I get the opportunity to taste a Pommery I take it. Traditionally, I like Brut; howevery this extra dry POP is mellow, smooth, just a wonderful experience. If I can find it I will choose it over others. It does not taste sweet and I enjoyed the bottle. New Years Eve 2006. Enjoy!

Its a great refreshing alternative to the standard white or red wine. I wish more restaurants had it available. I first had it at 1776 Restaurant in Crystal Lake, Illinois. No need to wait for that very special occasion just pop a Pop.

My wife and I always order the POPs on our Wedding Anniversary Dinner which we have always had at the Chart House Restaurant Weehawken, NJ. Chart House was also the venue for our wedding. The POP is truly a wonderful champagne which is extremely relaxed. I normally have my POPs with Crab Cakes, while my wife has hers with Salmon and Asparagus.
