Dom Pérignon Rosé 1993 Champagne
Dom Perignon Vintage Rose 1993 - Pink Champagne
Quite simply an outstanding champagne! This rosé champagne is presented in the most remarkable deep pink wooden box emblazoned with motifs, so much attention to detail. Immediately inspiring with the care and dedication that has gone into its production, creating a feeling of privilege to share in its history. What starts as a feast for the eyes won’t let you down.
The unctuousness of the mouse and the finesse of the bubble, those primary notes which start off so clean and so lively but then develop into something rich in aromas and flavours, is the ultimate delicacy of its kind.
Dom Perignon Rose’s bouquet tenders floral notes which are shadowed and overtaken by those of dry fruits, fig and apricot, before finally moving on to those of spice and undergrowth.
It has flavours of perfectly buttered toast, fluctuating between hints of pomegranate and orange groves. It pirouettes and dances on your taste buds slowly unleashing a carefully balanced complexity of flavour.
The fullness of this sublime champagne is both tactile yet light whilst the length is precise and boasting an almost youthful freshness.
Champagne Grape Blend:40% Chardonnay, 60% Pinot Noir
Features:Dom Pérignon Rosé is made only in exceptional vintage years from two grape varieties from the champagne region, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
Vintage Year:"1993 will be remembered as a precocious vintage. A hot and stormy spring led to an early flowering which was over as early as the first fortnight of June. Despite average temperatures the summer was remarkable as much for the sun as for the dryness which continued right up until the offset of harvest on Sept the 10th." - Dom Pérignon
