Henri Blin Vintage Champagne 1998
Very welcoming, this straw yellow vintage champagne is a dry fruity number, with pleasurable pear overtones. It has persistent bubbles and is highly sparkling; lighthearted and sprightly while remaining fresh and clean on the palate. Beginning lightly toasty, the roasted flavour becomes more pronounced on the long finish.
Ideal as a first glass at any function, though why stop there? It would be an excellent ice breaker without dominating. Definitely a highly satisfying libation.
