Vintage Year:"The vintage expresses the typical qualities of the year and reveals the characteristics of the terroir. The only white grape-variety, the Chardonnay has different characteristics according to the region it is grown in. It gives off mineral aromas such as that of the chalk on which it thrives and gratifies us with more exotic aromas in more continental climates including notes of white flowers such as may blossom and acacia. It is not unusual to find more subtle aromas such as citrus fruit, pear or even lime. Its liveliness and harmoniousness make it more often an aperitif wine." - Nicolas Feuillatte
